Earthing System
Earthing Systems for People & Equipment Safety
A good earthing system protects people from shock, protects equipment from fault damage and lets protection devices operate correctly.
Overview
The Safety Foundation of Every Installation
We design, install and test earthing for sub-stations, generators, solar plants, BESS and industrial buildings – starting with soil resistivity testing so the system achieves the resistance your application needs.
- Soil resistivity testing and design
- Copper / GI electrodes and chemical compound
- Separate neutral and body earthing
- Earth resistance test reports

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Can’t find your answer? Talk to our engineers – we reply quickly.
For sub-stations and sensitive equipment, 1 ohm or less is commonly targeted; general installations typically aim for below 5 ohms. The required value depends on the application and applicable standards.
At least once a year, ideally in the dry season when soil resistance is highest. Testing is included in our AMC and safety audits.
Mild shocks from machine bodies, frequent failure of electronics, and earth fault relays not tripping – or tripping unexpectedly.
